Design the CSTS Art for 2018

It’s that time again.The Can’t Stop The Serenity promotional art contest is back for 2018!

But it’s not the same old contest. This year, as you know, we have a new CSTS icon, the result of a contest in the Fall. This new icon will be part of all art going forward, starting with this year’s.

All the details you need to know can be found here but briefly (and in no particular order):

  • The art may be used in a variety of fashions. The more versatile it is, the better.
  • It must be your own artwork and inspired by the movie Serenity.
  • Because this is about Equality Now and Peace in the ‘Verse, there should be no overt violence portrayed within the art.
  • There is a limit of 3 submissions per artist.

It’s Time for a New CSTS Icon

 

When we started in 2006, we got permission from Universal and from Equality Now to combine images from both to create the symbol we all recognize as the Can’t Stop The Serenity logo.

It has stood us in very good stead for 12 years now but Equality Now has changed their look and we must follow suit. After some discussion, they have given us permission to use their new logo – or part of it – the abstracted equal sign in 2 shades of Blue.

So we need a new logo using the Serenity icon and the Equality Now image.

We will be accepting submissions for the new CSTS design until Sept. 29th. You may submit up to 3 choices.

Design our next logo! It’s time for the 2014 CSTS Promo Art Contest!

The Can’t Stop The Serenity promotional art contest is back for 2014! Do you think you’ve got what it takes to design our official promotional artwork?


In its eight-year history, Can’t Stop The Serenity has raised more than half a million dollars for Equality Now. We can do even more good works in 2014, but only if people show up! That’s where you can come in. Since we’ve been doing this for almost a decade now, the novelty factor has worn off, which means it’s more important than ever before to build excitement for CSTS. The annual logo is a critical tool for raising awareness about the event, building excitement, and getting people to get out to CSTS events around the world.
