The California Browncoats are launching their first Can’t Stop the Serenity screening since 2011 in San Diego, California next Sunday, August 18th 2019 at AMC Mission Valley 20! (Don’t worry, there will still be one in Irvine, next month, for all of our regulars.) All proceeds will benefit the amazing charity Equality Now! Get tickets at: BrownPaperTickets.com/event/4309886
#CSTS2019 San Diego offers #Browncoats a non-Comic-Con reason to spend some quality time together – so bring a friend! The event will also feature a set of Firefly themed songs from The Fallen Stars during the event – if you aren’t familiar with their music, prepare to feel all the feels!!
Besides music and the Big Damn Movie, Serenity, there will be door prizes, a suggested donation drawing, and an auction of some very cool rare and one of a kind Firefly artwork, with all proceeds going to charity.
Why are we supporting Equality Now? This long-standing charity, besides being the being the beneficiary of worldwide Can’t Stop the Serenity screenings for over a decade, fights to end discriminatory laws and social practices that endanger the rights and lives of women and girls around the world. Talk about Big Damn Heroes!
