Grab your Wonderflonium and head to Albuquerque’s Bubonicon this Friday night

Join the Albuquerque Browncoats on Friday 25^th August as they present Dr. Horrible’s Sing-Along Blog at Bubonicon 49.

The screening is being held in the Cimarron Room at the Albuquerque Marriott Uptown, with doors opening at 8:45pm, and the event beginning at 9pm.

Organiser Charlie says “It’s a free event for the public and for Bubonicon attendees. However, it is a charity event after all, so there is a suggested donation of $2-5. If you come a little early you can check out the Bubonicon Art Show and Dealer’s Room, which are also open to the public. Afterwards, you can attend the Bubonicon Late-Night Charity Auction, which also features stand-up comedy.

We have some amazing raffle and auction items including a QMx Penny maquette signed by Felicia Day, DH posters and Felicia Day photo signed by Felicia, graphic novels and rare t-shirts. We will be giving away a few lovely door prizes as well. Raffle tickets are 1 for a dollar and 6 for $5, so be sure to bring plenty of cashy money!

Merchandise from our July CSTS 2017 event, including t-shirts, pins, patches, and coins, will be made available for purchase this evening and throughout the convention weekend. Also come see us Saturday night at the Browncoat Party room on the 3rd floor party area. We will have Snacks!”

All proceeds from this affiliate event will go to two great charities, Equality Now and UNM Children’s Hospital, CMNH.

Charlie adds “Special thanks to Bubonicon for supporting local fandom! Extra special thanks to crew-member Jessica for creating the Dr. Horrible Felties ornaments featured on our cover photo. We will raffle these off at the show!”
