The deadline for submissions to the 2014 Art Contest has been further extended to 1 February 2014! We’ve realised that the earlier deadline was too short considering the holidays, and hope the extra time will allow more artists to give it a shot.
Over the years, we’ve raised almost a million dollars for Equality Now. We can do even more good works, but only if people show up! That’s where you come in.
The logo is a critical tool for raising interest and awareness about the events and charity, building excitement, and getting people into theaters around the world. To do this, the art needs to appeal to people who already know about CSTS, to Browncoats who haven’t heard of us and to non-fans, and draw their attention.
The winner’s artwork will be featured prominently throughout our website and social media outlets, and on any T-shirts, posters and promos created for the annual CSTS season.
Submissions must be received no later than 1 February 2014 by 11:59 P.M. PST in order to be considered.
All entries and questions should be submitted to artdirector@cantstoptheserenity.com. For all the rules, guidelines and other red tape-type things, please see the full contest rules.
Good luck! We can’t wait to see your entry!
Will you consider children’s art? I ask because my granddaughter has drawn a Serenity kanji freehand from my tattoo that was pretty inspiring. Simplistic and very childlike, but still very nice.
All art is considered! Ultimately, it’s up to the public to decide when the voting begins. 🙂
