As the "Planning for 2009" thread has grown to cover a wide range of ideas for global and local, I thought it might be good to have a thread specifically for suggestions and discussion around CSTS Global Management for 2009 and onwards.
Haldira has advised that the term for the current Global Organizer ends on 31 August 2008, and from what I've been reading around various forums, it seems that the general consensus is that we all need to get things tightened up a little before the new team is selected.
Personally, I think that input into developing the processes, policies and procedures for Global CSTS management should be accepted from as many people as possible, including past/current Global/Local CSTS event organizers (and teams), experienced non-CSTS event organisers, people who have worked with non-profits/fandom projects etc.
The goal would be to come to some kind of consensus within the next few weeks, and document as much as possible so that the next team knows what they're getting in for, and so that event supporters can be confident that concerns have been addressed.
